i try to spend some portion of every day in my home studio; the more i paint, the more i learn to trust what i see. as of late, i have been re-visiting various paintings of mine, making changes, tweaking, starting from scratch if need be - it's as if i have a new pair of eyes. i look forward to painting far into my old age: how and what will i be seeing and realizing then?
